Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. --Jim Ryan
Quotes are one of my favourite things. As a swimmer I had many that I kept in a little book for the days when training got hard, my muscles hurt and it was a little harder to get to the pool. Yes those things do happen. I still look back at it. You have all set goals at the beginning for long course season that involved improving upon your swims so far in the year. I would insert "good" habits into the above quote. Swimming well all the time, allows you to always be moving forward. There are different things for every swimmer in the group that are going to allow them to become a better swimmer. Keep working on all the skills, whether they seem big or small they all are important. If you have questions, do not be afraid to ask. You will only get the answers if you ask.
Here is another quote for you:
Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.--- William James
